So it's a Military Expansion, in other words?

Veledren sighs.

Atleast you will return the Mansion when we've finished the fight with the Demon.

Remilia floats over quickly, helping Flandre.

Sister! Are you alright?

"Yes, I'll restore it when Im finished"

I have to admit... Seeing your home, and your family. It is easier to believe your words. I will try to convince Remilia and her family of your intentions, but they are not likely to change their opinions until their home is returned.

My arm... Flandre breifly responds.

"Yes, and thank you. This is the only colored thing in this realm. Besides the lake"

Remilia examines Flandre's arm carefully -- Thankfully, she was not hit with a wave that would drain her strength or corrupt her.

You'll be fine, Flan... It should only hurt for a little while, promise.

She says, knowing that Flandre would regenerate relatively fast as a Vampire.

Veledren nods.

Only colored thing, hm? I shouldn't have any problems adjusting to that. You saw the state my land was in and...

He sighs, pausing.

Nevermind, I won't have any problems staying here.

(I might be slower to respond for a little while here, gettin' busy. Just so you guys know.)

"Hmm... yes, This mansion is cousy"

(Gettin busy with da ladies?)

Yeah... Just er... Keep anything with tentacles or multiple tails away from me.

(I wish I was gettin' that busy.)

"Haha, very well. But Scandreila is our favorite pet. Dont blame us if she runs into here"

(Yes, me too. But Im not that lucky to date a girl)

As long as she doesn't try to eat me or anything like that.

Veledren responds.

"Hopefully she'll resist. She isnt as tamed as Scanvendgre"

In the event that she does start trying to do so; where should I run? It would be preferable to know all my options, there's always the classic "dive out the window" but...

Veledren scratches the back of his head.

There were times where that didn't work out so well.

"Well... you can wait till she attacks with hers main tail, dodge, causing her struggle to get hers tail out of the ground. Then you can get out of the way in time" Nedus said

Okay, that works.

Veledren says with a nod.

'Well, thats more of a problem' Nedus thought to himself

"Anyways... Expect a few hours so I can get fully powered"

Good, I hope Patchouli and the others are okay... The Old One seemed like he wasn't going to hold back.

"Hmm... yes. One who likes to get things to the point"

Yes, he's much more "honest" in that regard. Most Demons will sit there and toy with Mortals or 'inferior beings'. He skips all that and goes straight to overpowering them and turning them to his uses, or removing them if he can't do that.

"Is that the reason why he wants to remove both you and me?"

Aki sits next to Nedus, then on his lap

Nedus wraps his arms around hers stomach, he smiles

About that... He wants to remove you -- But he can still use me. It's why he keeps trying to capture me alive, more accurately, he needs my body.

Think of it like this; as powerful as the Old One is. His body has reached it's limit, he will never grow any more powerful, the "cup is full", so to speak... Then you have a body like mine, virtually no limits because it consumes souls and uses their power as a fuelsource to become unmatched -- Now imagine someone like the Old One having that type of power.

Veledren thinks, before continuing on.

He's using everyone else as a means to make it happen, and he won't stop until he finally succeeds.

"I understand... He is some demon... I wonder if he is worse than me..."

I can safely say that he is, he doesn't hold anything close. He doesn't have any sympathy or remorse; a merciless killing machine. And given the chance, he will go on to conquer everything he can reach.
