Once again, he attempts not to stare at Patchouli.

... Well er... What should we do first? I don't have alot of experience with this type of stuff.

Yukari yells "get out!!!"

Ah, we can go swimming. Patchouli says, walking towards the water.

Okay.

Veledren replies, walking to the water as well.

Patchouli thinks "How am I going to explain to him that I dont know how to swim...?"

Veledren thinks before going into the water.

Hm... Because of your asthma, maybe we should go in one at a time and swap. It will be easier for me to tell if you're having trouble and need help.

Y-...Yeah... Patchouli says, sitting down.

Is something wrong?

Veledren asks, looking over to Patchouli. Noting the slightly odd behavior.

Patchouli puts her head down. I-...I can't swim...

Veledren smiles.

That's nothing to be ashamed of. I told you that I didn't have any idea of how to start a family, right? I'll help you learn how to swim.

Patchouli smiles. You will?

Veledren replies with a smile.

Patchouli hugs him.

Veledren returns the hug.

Okay, it's very simple. I'll show you how first, and then I'll ease you into it.

(This would probably be easier if I knew how to swim...)

Patchouli nods.

(Well, the simple way is: make your hands into a sort of bowl shape, kick your legs, and paddle with your hands)

Veledren then eases himself into the water, he takes a moment to prepare, and then begins to swim at a calm pace. Letting Patchouli see the movements clearly.

(Last time I went swimming, I had one of those Looney Tunes gravity moments. You know, where they stand in the air. And don't realize that they should be falling? Well I was like "Hey, how am I floating right now?" and down I went. I got out, clearly. But yeah...)

Patchouli watches closely, memorizing every movement.

(Yeah, swimming isn't easy to learn, I still have a few problems now and then.)

Eventually, Veledren returns to dry land, looking to Patchouli.

Okay... Now, I'll help you with the first steps. Don't worry, I'll make sure that you don't go underwater for too long.

(And of course, I have asthma. Which just made me even more afraid of water [Well, drowning specifically], I'm just thankful I don't have any nightmares involving suffocation/drowning...)
