Veledren looks over to Nedus.

He tries to move the Sword of Light into a defensive stance. But is unable to move properly because of his recent lack of strength.

!!! You rude bastard!! Do I look like a gentleman? Patchouli says towards Nedus.

Nedus hands over the book about healing "I have learned the skills of healing myself with this book, pretty useful, I believe. Thats one of the main reasons why I remain human. Take it... learn it... and survive with it... and destroy that demon. I'll provide aid if you want"

Destroy the Demon? An impossible feat.

Veledren adds.

I can barely move, there is no injury. I had a shot with all those Demons on my side, but now he could just pick me off if he so wished.

"You should recover quickly with that sword. Do you wish for me to heal you now?"

There's nothing to heal, nothing to recover from. There's nothing wrong with me, I just don't have any powers -- I'm Mortal now.

"Thats strange... wouldnt you have been given higher powers now?"

Veledren has gained Higher Powers, Veledren feels strenth he never exeriance before. His fist tingle, his armer glows... he can smite everything

Strange... Patchouli comments.

Maybe I lost so much physical ability when all the Demons I've slain over the years were taken away...

He sighs.

Now I have to adapt to new limits...

"Yes... adapt. If you wish, I'll give you training by my own phantoms. They wont harm you"

Thanks for the offer, but training is something I have to do by myself.

"Very well, but the offer is still up. But... what about the aid thing?" Nedus asked Veledren

If you think you can fight him, it would be appreciated. Though I doubt that anyone can stand up to his power... The entire time, I thought I was this close to killing him, he was just toying with me.

"Yes, this may be so. But I would like to offer aid, help you reach that Demon and have a battle against Rumia, and possilby restoring hers amulent"

Anything involving a "Rumia" does not concern me, I have not met such a being.... We won't be able to reach the Demon, not until he wants us there. I suggest we make the use of our time wisely.

"Then we will join untill this war is over, right?"

I dislike the idea... There was no reason for you to destroy their home, and given the chance, I would kill you right here -- But yes, we have a truce.

Patchouli thinks, then nods. That would be the best option.

Nedus smiled and put his hand out "Then... a truths"

There's no reason for us to fake a friendship; I still don't like you.

He says bluntly to Nedus.

I'll help you when it's necessary, I expect the same from you. Nothing more, nothing less.

Patchouli slaps his hand. Im not friends with those who destroy my home.

"Very well, but..."

A book appears in Neduses hand, its the book about healing

"I do advise you to read this book... It'll be helpful"

Veledren accepts the book.

I'll read through it, it might just save my life in the fight.
