I've never seen magic quite like that before.

Alex blushed a little, but continued on. As the game finished loading, he chose an option which said "load game", he chose a save which detailed an area that Ran did not recognize, and then there it was. A character standing in the middle of a screen. He had a resemblance to Alex, save for the outfit. And that he seemed more mature.

Alex begins to press the various buttons in a rapid succession to move about the area. It was almost like he was trained to do this. Finally, it shifted from gameplay to a cutscene, a figure approached the virtual Alex. And when revealed who it was, this character resembled Ran herself.

Ah, my companion's back.

Alex said quite simply upon seeing the virtual Ran.

(This must be like one big mind fuck for Ran. xD)

Patchouli nods.

Humonculus creation is a very rare thing.

She picks the child up and carries her to Remilia, the child naturally knew how to breathe and knows basic functions, but she will need to learn things like walking.

Ran blinks then rubs her eyes.

Is that me?

Veledren followed at a calm pace. Remilia smiled.

As always, you have done very well Patchouli. Thank you for doing this for me.

Alex nodded.

Yep, well, not the real you, obviously. But it is a character made to look like you, as close as possible.

Patchouli smiles.

Now, the child will need to be taught things such as how to speak. Also she may have your immortality, but her body will grow.

Patchouli then hands the girl to Remilia.

Well...You certainly did a good job.

Ran comments.

Remilia accepts the child, holding her gently yet safely. She smiled proudly.

She is perfect...

Perhaps it was not the "real thing". But Remilia seemed happy all the same.

Thank you, it wasn't very easy. But I consider it a gift of mine, I'll find a way somehow.

Alex replied with a smile, he continued onward. The 'Alex and Ran' in the game stood before a vast army. The two exchanged words for a moment, as one would expect of the situation, and then the cutscene ended. Alex began fighting the enemies right away. Slicing his way through many of the Soldiers, amazingly, he was not being struck, even once. Ran fought alongside him, mostly evading swiftly and using magic to counter large groups of Soldiers at once.

The girl looks up at Remilia's face, her hair a perfect blend of blue and blonde.

What will you name her?

Patchouli asks.

Ran watches.

Okay. I will leave that to you and Marisa.

Patchouli says, smiling.(I wonder if Remilia will teach the kid how to be charismatic? XD)

Ran continues to watch, amazed.

(Im going for now, I'll be back sometime later.)

Thank you again, Patchouli. Now I will need to raise my child carefully, please, rest. You have more than earned it.

The conversation between the two takes place, and then it ends, as the cutscene does. Alex immediately jumps into the battle, evading swords that were flung at him at high speeds, he closes the distance and attacks Gilgamesh quickly, the first few were blocked, but then Gilgamesh was backed into a corner and locked in place, attack after attack landing.

Finally, Alex jumps away. And the background begins to shift, Alex is surrounded by an aura, likely powering this spell. Many swords are stabbed into the ground, and then Alex stands straight. Gilgamesh catches his breath and readies his gate of weapons. The fight resumes, Alex being just as skilled as the last time.

(Definite possibility that Remilia will teach her to be charismatic, and Marisa will probably teach her how to be an awesome thief. Later man. xD)

Patchouli nods, she returns to her room.

Ran's eyes widen.

(And then Remilia will find out and probably scold Marisa for it XD Also, I've been thinking, should the kid getva mythalogical weapon like Remilia and Flandre have?)

Veledren returned with her, leaving Remilia to be happy with her child. He almost thought of saying something, but truthfully, he didn't have anything to actually say to this event.

Alex jumps away as Gilgamesh breaks out of the lock, readying a powerful blade. Alex then picks up two different swords from the ground, and leaps back into the combo.

(I would assume so, yes. I may consider what they can receive.)

"...Can I touch you?" Frank asks

Super cool Awesome Black Mesa ROBOT breaks into the mansion "MOTHER FUUUUCCCKKKEEERRR!!! DIIIEEE!!! IM HERE TO DESTROY ALL HUMAN PERSONAL!!"

(Based on the video I saw, it was called "Half Life 2 Episode Three Leak" Which was purely fanmade. But the robot was cool)

Why exactly?

Marisa asks.

Patchouli smiles.

It is a wonderful thing that we made Remilia happy.

Ran continues to watch, she claps.

(I have a pretty good idea for a weapon for the kid, I can't remember the name though.)

"...I dont know"

"PAY ATTENTION TO ME!!" The robot says at them

Patchouli enters her room.

Koakuma confronts the robot.

There are no humans here, you see.

Ran smiles.

That was amazing.

The rocket reaches the moon.

Veledren entered alongside her.

Well, it turned out to be a good day.

Alex smiled.

Thank you. There's enough slots open if you wanted to make your own character and try it.

He remembered that Ran was leaning on his shoulder. He blushed slightly, but seemed to be used to it.

Patchouli nods.

I agree, today has been a very good day.

Im not sure if I would be very good at that...

Ran responds.

So now that we have a little time to ourselves... Why not relax? Before yet another incident starts bashing down our doors...

Alex smiled again.

Don't worry, it only gets that difficult at the end.

Alex clicked 'new game' and then cycled through a preset. There was a rather adorable Chibi Ran on the screen, the 'finished result' of the creation process.

All characters start like this. And as you can imagine, the adventure starts off in a similar fashion.

"Screw it! Im bored!!" Frank crosses his arms

The robot makes a rec in the Mansion. He destroys the kitchen

Patchouli nods in agreement.

Koakuma runs into Patchouli's room and hides under the bed.

Suddenly, lightning strikes the Robot, causing critical damage.

Yukari opens a gap next to the moon, then opens one near a far away black hole.

Hmm...Maybe I will give it a try.

Robot short circuit causing it to dance to different rock music

The Bullet Bill is making the Moon drift towards the Earth, they have to land

Frank falls asleep

Er...

Veledren looked under the bed.

Did she just...?

That's the spirit.

Alex handed the PSP, all Ran had to do to advance into the game was press 'continue'.

Koakuma...

There's a big dumb robot outsideeeee~
