| The Demon chasing them was quite large, indeed. Each time it was met with an obstacle, it either crashed through it, or smashed it out of the way with a powerful shockwave with it's fire. It was a wonder that Veledren was outrunning it. | |

| The Demon picks up pace, as Veledren just barely manages to evade it by jumping onto a tree branch, he gracefully leaps and moves forward by the trees now, as the Demon keeps pace below them, throwing a fireball up now and then. | |

| It continues like this for a little while, until Veledren begins to run out of Trees to leap to. As he reaches the last one, he moves one arm to grip the Sword of Light, and keeps his other arm around Patchouli. He leaps from the tree, purposely going right into the Demon's path. And bringing the Sword down on it's head.
Right as the sword collides, the Demon's flames die down as it skids along the ground, Veledren keeps hold until they come to a stop, and then steps off of the body.
